A friend just sent pictures of her recent visit to BITS.
Research has shown that association of emotions with events is so great that even after decades, any allusion to a particular event can evoke a strong emotional response. You can even feel your pulse race or a butterfly flutter in your stomach!
Breezing through the pictures in the middle of a busy office day had an unusual effect. For a few moments, it was like walking though the corridors of the Insti, sipping tea at CP and laughing with friends in Sky - a gushing feeling swept through! A burst of voices, colors, smells invaded the senses.
Somewhere a phone rang. I looked out of my office window, at the glittering Boston skyline for the longest second and got back to work...
